People keep asking me if I’m nervous about the wedding on Saturday. The only thing making me nervous is everyone asking me if I’m nervous. Seriously, I’m very calm. We’re fully prepared for the big day. There’s been no running around crazy at the last minutes, no tantrums, no tears. We’re calm.
I’ve never been as sure of anything in my life. Not my decision to go to Franciscan University of Steubenville, not any job that I’ve taken, not any move I’ve made. Nothing. This is exactly what I’m supposed to do. God’s will be done.
Dom, Know that I am praying for you and Melanie and I wish you the very best of God’s blessings on you life together.
I wasn’t nervous before I first received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. I wasn’t at all nervous before receiving First Holy Communion…I was actually raring to go. Ditto for Confirmation, and for the Sacrament of Marriage.
Nervous? I should think “I can’t wait” is far saner.
Nice of your pastor, by the way. Go easy on the Scotch, but I know I don’t have to tell you that.
I don’t want to make you nervous, so I won’t ask you if you are nervous or not.
