Gay “marriage” will become legal in Massachusetts, I predict. And the Legislature will do nothing to stop it, despite a bill having been proposed that would define marriage as being between one man and one woman. Why do I say that?
As Phil Lawler points out in today’s CWN Off The Record blog they recently held a hearing on the bill at the State House. Four Catholic priests showed up to testify. All of them opposed the bill saying there was nothing wrong with gay “marriage.” And we have not heard a peep from the Archdiocese of Boston or the dioceses of Worcester, Fall River, or Springfield. The Church remains silent as the wolves tear into the sheepfold. That applies just as much to the destruction of the fabric of society as it does to clergy sexual abuse.
