Eugene Kennedy, ex-Catholic priest turned psychologist, told a Voice of the Faithful conference in New York that the reason for the Scandal is the Chuch’s teachings on sexuality and that the “hierarchical Church” sees “the universe and the person as divided into good (the spirit) and that which is bad (nature).” In other words, he basically accused the Church of Manichaeism. Instead he wants to scrap the Church’s hierarchical nature and allow everyone to do whatever they want sexually. Is this what Voice of the Faithful means by “keep the faith, change the Church”?
