Tom Fitzpatrick has found the lyrics to the “black national anthem” mentioned in a Boston Globe article about inner-city parochial schools. Read the lyrics at Tom’s site and then ask yourself why we need separate national anthems for different ethnic groups (doesn’t that defeat the purpose of a national anthem?) and why in the world Catholic schools would be promoting it.
