You will recall that the week before my wedding I hinted at a big announcement regarding me that would tangentially affect this blog, but I wasn’t able to say anything at the time. I’ve been waiting for the official press release to get out, but as the information is starting to circulate, I don’t want to wait anymore.
As of September 1, I will be the new editor of Catholic World Report magazine. Phil Lawler, my mentor and boss to whom I remain indebted, is stepping down as editor, but will remain as editor emeritus.
Congratulations Dom! CWR will be in good hands.
This is good news all around, Dom. I look forward to Phil’s book.
Catholic World Report will be in good hands. Congratulations!
Boy, is life gettin’grand for you! Congrats on the blessings!
Awesome! Congratulations!
How very, very marvelous for you, Dom! I am thrilled and know that CWR will be in very capable hands. Congratulations!
Great news Dom! May the Holy Spirit guide you in all that you do.
Congratulations Dom!
Congratulations,Dom! I subscribe to CWR and find it very insightful, esp. the recent essay by Fr. Pokorsky:“The Damaging Culture of Silence”. Hopefully there will be integrity and honesty when the representatives of the Holy See come to see what is going on in the seminaries and their relationship with “Catholic” colleges, and remove the entitlement to the designation”Catholic’” from those that refuse to require that their theologians agree to the Mandatum requirements. I’m sure CWR will be covering the events with justice! Good luck-our prayers are with you!
Wow! Congratulations!
MAZEL TOV!
