Here’s a bizarre one. A transsexual guy-become-gal claims that he should get women’s rates for his life insurance. I’m with the life insurance company on this. Having certain parts removed, plastic surgery on other parts, and taking female hormones doesn’t change your DNA. Guys are more likely to have a shorter life span. As the life insurance company puts it, “We see no evidence to show that transgender operations or medications change life expectancy.”
Of course, logic and facts are nothing to the Gay Brownshirts (with apologies to Mark Shea for borrowing his term). What’s most important is the doublespeak and the Big Lie and convincing people that changing your physical appearance will alter your ontological being and that your sex is simply a malleable biological fact, not concretely spiritual or psychological.
