Pryor restraint?

Sorry for the bad pun. Alabama attorney general Bill Pryor, a practicing Catholic and President’s Bush nominee to the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals, has been unabashedly and unapologetically pro-life in his testimony before the Senate, stating that he thinks Roe v. Wade was bad law and bad legal precedent. That has made him a target of the pro-abortion lobbies that want to keep him from the bench. He comes up for a vote before the Senate Judiciary Committee and pro-abortion Republican Senator from Pennsylvania Arlen Specter says he is still undecided.

Specter has voted for Bush’s pro-life nominees before, but I think his re-election campaign is weighing on his mind. So, all you pro-lifers out there, especially those of you in Pennsylvania, should start letting the Senator know what you think.

If you are a Pennsylvania resident, contact Senator Specter at (202) 224-4254 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and encourage support for the nomination of Bill Pryor. And everyone should pray that we can build up a society that genuinely values every innocent life, starting with the good first step of getting judges who recognize that value.
