Papal blessing leads to cure?

A six-year-old German boy suffering from cancer was reportedly cured after being blessed by Pope Benedict during World Youth Day. Now, before we go crazy, the story notes that the boy did receive a chemotherapy therapy treatment after the blessing. But whatever the proximate cause, he was healed and that we can credit as a blessing in any case.

The healing wouldn’t pass muster in any official Church investigation because you wouldn’t be able to definitively say it was miraculous (in the technical sense), but it’s still a miracle in the broader sense. (And to underline it all, don’t forget that miracles for beatification and canonization must occur posthumously—before anyone gets too excited.)
