Off to see Tiger!

Off to see Tiger!

I won’t be posting much until late on Friday, if at all. I’m off at dawn tomorrow to see Tiger Woods playing in the Deutsche Bank Championship at the TPC Boston. My roommate Paul’s brother is a caddy on the PGA Tour so he’s getting us in, which is going to be great. I’ve never been to a PGA event before.

I hope to take some pictures, but I know cameras are a no-no near the action, so I may only get long distance shots. Quiet on the green!

And if Tiger hits me on the head with a ball, you know I’m asking for more than an autographed glove.

Object hits PGA shuttle bus, injuring 6
    By Associated Press, 8/29/2003

FOXBORO—Six people were injured this afternoon on a bus shuttling spectators between Gillette Stadium and a PGA golf tournament, police said.

The bus was hit by a parking lot gate that was blown shut by the wind, a Foxboro police spokeswoman said.

The gate hit the bus in an area where passengers were sitting, state trooper David Parsons said. Two people were seriously injured and were taken by helicopter to Boston Medical Center. Their condition was not immediately available.

Four others were being treated for minor injuries.

Spectators were being ferried from Gillette Stadium in Foxboro to the TPC of Boston golf course in Norton, where the Deutsche Bank Championship is being played.

    panies should follow suit.

Of course, the exact wording of the FOX email is a little different:

“Icon has indicated to us that it has a number of alternative distribution options that it is pursuing. In light of that, Fox and Icon have agreed not to partner on this project,”

Makes you wonder if the pricetag for distributing this film is higher than they want to pay.
