Not much blogging

Not much blogging

Sorry, it’s been so quiet. It’s rare that a whole weekday goes by without anything from me. I was up to my ears editing several different stories for Catholic World Report today, including a very interesting look at how the Church is responding to the AIDS crisis in India, which is set to pass South Africa as having the most AIDS cases. We’re also going to have an interview with James Langley, a Catholic artist with a healthy understanding of the place of art in the Church. Check out his web site to see some of his beautiful art.

And to show off that art, CWR is finally going to all color! That’s right, as of the November issue CWR will be color through and through. Welcome to the 21st century! I’m very excited about this development.

Anyway, more blogging soon.

    Inquiring minds, and all that…

How the blazes did INDIA manage to get into the AIDS thing?  Never heard tales of promiscuity from there—or dirty-needles, or homosexuality.

    Huh?

  • Hate to tell you, but Indian is no different than all the rest: promiscuity, drugs, and all. Being a majority Christian nation is not necessarily a balm, but being a majority Hindu nation, because it doesn’t have the same moral strictures to the same degree, hasn’t helped.

  • As long as you are mentioning CWR…just want to tell you how much my husband and I look forward to each issue…wish it were a weekly!

  • That was just the nudge I needed.  Thanks, Monica2!  Faith and Family is excellent too.  It too is monthly (used to be quarterly)…
