As fellow Salemite and cigar-lover Tom Fitzpatrick points out in his blog today, contrary to what some anti-war loonies say, the US is not “going it alone” in Iraq. In addition to our friends the British and the Australians, 17 European countries also are backing us up. Or are the war protesters telling us that the only ones that matter are France, Germany, Luxembourg, and Belgium?
