Todd conveniently forgets all the other cases of priestly sex abusers who have been shown to be homosexual: Shanley, Geoghan, and on and on. Once again, Todd, the vast majority of abuse cases were by adult men with teenage boys. According to clinical psychological definitions (and I have had several psychologists and therapists confirm this) a man who has sex with teenage boys is not heterosexual, but homosexual in his orientation.
I don’t think of Todd as a “partisan ideologue”, I just think he conveniently ignores some facts.
