The Vatican Museum is putting some of its collection online. This is really great news and illustrates one of the great uses of the Internet. Here we have one of the finest collections of the works of men, much of it done for the greater glory of God or at least seeking the transcendent and ineffable which is found only in God, but before now you had to travel to Rome to see it. (Or read about it in a book.)
But now so much of it is available online for you to see as well as get up close to it. Along with the Vatican Library and the texts of papal documents, the Vatican web site is a real treasure trove both for Christians and non-Christians.
