Here’s a new blog from “Brother Solanus” called The Cleveland Catacombs”. Not much there yet, but I hope that it reflects a trend of Catholics blogging about the situation in their particular dioceses, much like “Recta Ratio” and I do about Boston and “Maine Catholic and Beyond” does about Portland. There are others as well.
I think it’s helpful to, on the one hand, get information about what’s going on in different places and, on the other, provide a place for local Catholics to get good information and analysis about their particular church. It doesn’t have to be completely on the one subject, but it’s good to have that be one of the focuses.
