  • I particularly enjoyed the interview with Fr. Larry Snyder, the president of Catholic Charities, USA [Inc.?].  It seems he enjoys a salary of $180,000 a year; that’s only about $159,000 more than yours truly, but what’s money?  I’m sure it all goes back to the diocese to support soup kitchens . . .

What caught my eye was his reading list:

“What he’s been reading: Father Snyder enjoys novels and political nonfiction. His recent favorite is Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, by Sen. Barack Obama.”

Is anyone surprised that “The Book of Virtues” or anything by a Republican was not on the top of his reading list?

To exist in Washington, DC (where the HQ of all these national “Catholiic” organizations are located), one must BE and EMPLOY Democrats.  It doesn’t matter what the current administration is; all of the infrastructure is Democratic, and always will be.

Try calling the USCCB.  You’ll see.
