Miracle for Pope John Paul?

Archbishop Stanislaw Dziwisz of Krakow says the beatification process for John Paul II could be wrapped by the Spring and says a miracle has already been picked to be examined.

Archbishop Stanislaw Dziwisz, who was personal secretary to John Paul, told reporters in Rome that “there are no problems with miracles because there are many, but they have picked one because they don’t need more.” Pressed further, Dziwisz added: “Maybe this I can say: they have picked (one in) France.”

The archbishop is a lot more vocal and in the public eye since the Holy Father’s death. Certainly, I don’t think I saw him quoted as much in the press before. It looks like he has appointed himself the guardian of JP2’s legacy, which isn’t entirely inappropriate. Who was closer to him on a daily basis for all those years?
