Contrary to what US Democrats are saying, here’s an Iraqi Catholic priest who’s supporting the coalition asking it to stand firm in the face of this week’s attacks. He said that the Shiite forces fighting coalition forces are backed by Iran and unpopular among Iraqis.
“The international community must be united and resolute, it must not cede to violence,” the Iraqi priest said. “To leave Iraq now would be a crime against the Iraqi people.”
