Something that seems to be overlooked in all the news coverage of the bin Laden tape released yesterday is that he’s alive! Maybe people are remembering the last tape that was supposed to be from him and are forgetting that it later turned out to not be. If this tape is authenticated (and I think it has been if Colin Powell was saying it’s bin Laden), that means the bastard is still breathing somewhere.
I’ll pray for his conversion, but failing that I’d prefer he get an immediate chance to meet the Big Guy in person and no longer have the ability to kill thousands of people at a shot. He and Mullah Omar and Saddam Hussein would make a nice hat trick.
