Hail to the conquering heroes

Hail to the conquering heroes

New England Patriots fans welcomed home the World Champions with a parade and rally on Boston’s City Hall Plaza. More than 1 million people are said to have gathered up to 30 deep along the parade route with tens of thousands more in the plaza.

For a city that was used to having these kinds of celebrations in the 80s (Celtics) and even the 70s (Bruins) and earlier, it was a long drought until the Patriots brought us our first in 15 years in 2002. We could get used to this. And looking at the quality of this organization, the talent of the players, and the potential for picking up even more great players in the future, we could get used to this.

Now if only we could have one of these celebrations in October. (wink, wink)
