Fr. Wilson and Paul Likoudis speak on the Minkler case

As PMC and Carolyn pointed out in the comments below, more and more is coming out about Fr. Minkler by the hour. PMC points us to this broadcast report that brings up the names of Paul Likoudis and Fr. Joseph Wilson as two people who spoke to Minkler on Friday before his death. They are adding their voices to that of Stephen Brady in saying that Fr. Minkler acknowledged having been blowing the whistle on the homosexual network among Albany priests for years. They also report that Minkler told them that he didn’t volunteer to come in to the chancery and sign the document.

Does it strike anyone else as strange this whole thing about signing the affidavit? Why would he propose that? If he denied it and his name wasn’t formally attached to the 1995 letter to O’Connor, what more needs to be said? Wouldn’t the proof be on those trying to prove that he was connected? It just doesn’t add up.
