It’s been pretty clear for a while that the mass media often throws big numbers around in news stories that are impossible to reconcile with each other, but that the average American doesn’t bother to digest and compare. Case in point: This Fox News story promoting gay families as important to the economy. It has the following the statistic: “The 2000 U.S. Census found that there were nearly 600,000 same-sex couples living in this country. One-third of lesbian households (96,000) have children, and one-fifth of gay male households (60,000) have kids, according to the Census.”
Check out the $6B increase in spending form 2002 to the end of this year!
Thank God for the Bush economy….helping homosexual families flourish!
The mass media are in love with sodomy and homosexual parenting. The media do not care for the well-being of children. Purposefully placing children in homosexual homes callously denies them a mother or father, confuses them on gender roles and God’s plan for sexuxality, and is a grave injustice to these children. But hey – it’s the same media that will fawn over some unmarried movie starlet that decides she wants to conceive with the product of a sperm bank. That’s also a grave injustice to the child to be born. But hey – it’s the same media that promotes partial-birth infanticide. THE MEDIA IS AN ALL-OUT ENEMY OF CHILDREN – AND THE CHURCH SHOULD FIGHT AGAINST IT – VIGOROUSLY. Still, I assume will get a statement or two from the bishops on homosexual adoptions in the next two or three decades…(by which time your children will have no idea of what constitutes a normal and Godly family). As usual, those who lead our Church are virtually AWOL on various forms of evil which are infiltrating our society and damaging children… We need little Christs for our bishops… Where are they?
So of the 218 million adult Americans, 1.2 million are gays in stable households. That’s about 0.55%. Estimates of the whole homosexual population range from 2% (NARTH’s web site) to 10% (Kinsey’s discredited number).
EIther way, doesn’t this demonstrate that relative few homosexual persons are in stable “monogamous” relationships? At best, one in four; at worst, one in 18.
