Except when it comes to liberal policies

Except when it comes to liberal policies

With regard to the Boston Globe editorial in the previous entry, I’m left wondering, too, whether the Globe‘s editors would be equally enthusiastic about stopping another set of bishops who are defying the law? After all, Cardinal Roger Mahony of LA and other bishops have said they will disobey a new federal law they say prevents them from aiding immigrants because the law would violate Catholic teaching. Shouldn’t the full force of the state come down upon those bishops too? Or do we hear nothing from the Globe because those bishops are supporting a liberal policy that the Globe favors?

  • Thank you, Dom.  I completely agree.  Completely!  You are the first that I have heard weighing in on this, and I thank you.

This from the same people that speak “reasonably” about pro-abortion politicians.  Why aren’t they going to jail over that?  Instead they drive their limos past abortion clinics every day, on their way to feed felons?

The key word to identify a liar on this issue, is when they call illegals, “immigrants”.  Liars.

Don’t get me wrong.  I agree that we should be feeding them and taking care of them, but to encourage the breaking of a nation’s laws?  And to pose as martyrs, when they are just sucking up to their liberal pals?  Jail may be just the thing for these guys.

  • Tich, tich.  Let Mahoney say and do what he wants re immigrants.  Remember that they caught Al Capone on tax evasion.  Anything to get the secret archives subpoenaed.  =)
