Don’t just boycott the Da Vinci Code; go see Over The Hedge

Barbara Nicolosi has an interesting idea for how people offended at the Da Vinci Code movie can respond. Rather than just boycotting it, they should instead on the opening day of May 19, go to another movie. Barbara recommends the animated movie “Over The Hedge”, but any movie will do.

The idea is to speak the language of Hollywood executives. A low box office can be explained away as more of the same filmgoer apathy or the effects of the weather or something else. But if lots of people go to the movies, but choose something other than “The Da Vinci Code,” that sends a whole other message.
