Want to know the logical result of court-ordered same-sex marriage? Jonathan Turley shows us in an op-ed in USA Today what’s coming: polygamy. In fact, he says that laws against polygamy are hypocritical. Of course, they are ... if you subscribe to the faulty understanding of the purpose of marriage and its place in society as promulgated by our black-robed masters in the courts and their puppeteers in liberal advocacy groups.
Turley says the problem is religion, specifically that religion is what separates those who hold to the actual definition of marriage and those who do not, and so he says that shouldn’t matter. In today’s flawed understanding of the place of religion in American lifeestion of authenticity is paramount and CNSNews provides some bi-partisan experts to say these documents are consistent with previously known Iraqi documents. As for the claims themselves, here is some of what they said:
They detail the Iraqi regime’s purchase of five kilograms of mustard gas on Aug. 21, 2000 and three vials of malignant pustule, another term for anthrax, on Sept. 6, 2000. The purchase order for the mustard gas includes gas masks, filters and rubber gloves. The order for the anthrax includes sterilization and decontamination equipment.
... An 11-page Iraqi memo, dated Jan. 25, 1993, lists Palestinian, Sudanese and Asian terrorist organizations and the relationships Iraq had with each of them. Of particular importance, Tefft said, are the relationships Iraq had already developed or was in the process of developing with groups and individuals affiliated with al Qaeda, such as Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and Ayman al-Zawahiri.
... Iraq not only built and maintained relationships with terrorist groups, the documents show it appears to have trained terrorists as well. Ninety-two individuals from various Middle Eastern countries are listed on the papers.
Many are described as having “finished the course at M14,” a reference to an Iraqi intelligence agency, and to having “participated in Umm El-Ma’arek,” the Iraqi response to the U.S. invasion in 1991. The author of the list notes that approximately half of the individuals “all got trained inside the ‘martyr act camp’ that belonged to our directorate.”
The article says that the reason these documents have not been publicized by the Bush administration before now is that there are thousands and thousands of documents waiting to be translated. Who knows what other intelligence treasures exist in these documents?
The “senior government official” who occupies a non-appointed post and who leaked these documents to CNSNews.com said he did so in order to refocus the country’s attention on the facts of national security and the war on terror and “away from political posturing.” Let’s hope they are real and accomplish just that.
Remember the last presidential election when the Democrats caused such a stir in Florida over counting ballots? At the time it seemed very odd…almost as though the decision were much more important than other presidential elections had been.
A reader of my blog sent me this News Max article that claims the elections will be rigged. Before you give the knee-jerk reaction, think back to the last election and the fuss in Florida about counting votes. At the time it seemed as though the outcome were more important than the average presidential election. It seemed almost to be a life and death struggle.
With that in mind, when I read about a possible vote fraud in this election, and couple that with the sorts of lies and dirty tricks that have been part of this campaign, I’m not ready to easily dismiss what News Max suggests in the article which opens with this:

NewsMax’s Insider Report has been warning our readers that Democrats and their supporters may be laying the groundwork for a massive effort to “steal” the election come Election Day.
Dom, the people who said that Iraq had absolutely no ties to al-Qaeda forget that Saddam supported Palestinian terrorism vigorously (even to the point of paying large sums to the families of “martyrs”), that Saddam gave refuge to the notorious Abu Nidal (before Saddam’s security services assassinated him), that Saddam tried to have Pres. Bush’s father assassinated while the latter visited Kuwait, and that Saddam’s government was the only one in the world to officially praise the 9/11 attacks.
The fact that Saddam was “secular” and that al-Qaeda is “religious” is irrelevant. Both had common cause against the U.S. and Israel; therefore, both would logically ally with each other. Remember, Saddam and bin Laden have more in common than Churchill and Roosevelt did with Stalin during WWII.
Never thought I’d find myself agreeing with Joe D, but I’m happy to do so – at least for Joe’s first paragraph, anyway.
To add to Joe’s enlightening dossier on Saddam’s support of terrorism: Where was Abu Abbas, the Palestinian terrorist mastermind behind the Achille Lauro hijacking in 1985, and suspected conduit for the payments to the families of the Palestinian “martyrs” – most recently found? And who found him? Iraq, and the U.S., respectively. This despicable Islamofascist bastard died of natural causes in April 2004 in U.S. custody, rather than in freedom, but those who see the U.S. action in Iraq as a “colossal error” just can’t bring themselves to be thankful that this terrorist died in custody rather than in freedom, thanks to the leadership of President George W. Bush and thanks to the immeasurable sacrifices made by so many of our nation’s armed forces.
