The Los Angeles County Bar Association wants to keep California judges out of membership in the Boy Scouts. Why?

    The letter [from the LA Bar association] to the California chief justice pointed out that Canon 2C of the code already prohibits membership by a judge in an organization that practices invidious discrimination, including discrimination based on sexual orientation, because such membership “gives rise to a perception that the judge’s impartiality is impaired.

What about membership in a church that teaches that homosexuality is wrong?
