That group of Dallas Catholics who want Bishop Charles Grahmann to finally resign have their petition web site up. I agree with them that Bishop Grahmann has been a problem for Dallas and that he should step aside in favor of his coadjutor bishop. And as for a popular uprising of people asking for relief from a bad bishop, well that has a historical precedent going back to the early days of the Church. One thing to note that sets these people apart from groups like Voice of the Faithful is that are willing to state they are faithful Catholics who do not dissent from the Church’s teachings.

You know, Kelly, I didn’t even see the links page. It is kind of odd that they list CWN as one of their four links along with VOTF. It’s not even like we do a lot of articles on the Scandal on the CWN site.
But you may be right. Anybody who lists VOTF so prominently on their site is either ill-informed or has the same problems.
