Considering the problems with Villaroya, including his situation in Los Angeles and the unresolved questions about the boy who might be his son and the woman he might have raped, I don’t think it should have been up to Villaroya or 10 protesting fmailies. I think Bishop Grahmann should have done the right thing from the beginning.
Rod, I’m not inclined to buy the explanation. We don’t know who the source was. It doesn’t sound like any good Vatican source I know for them to be so blunt about a reason such as that. It sounds more like someone offering their “informed” opinion about the reason.
