CWN for free for a day

CWN for free for a day

By the way, I don’t often shill for Catholic World News, the news service for which I work, but I just wanted you to know that today we’re having a sort of open house where all of our news stories are available for free to anyone who visits. It coincides with the ending of our Summer Sale. We’re offering subscriptions for $15, half off the regular price. I think that’s pretty inexpensive considering what you get. So if you like what you see there, plase buy a subscription for yourself (it also applies to renewals). Go here for all the details on how to get the special price.

Hey, and if you like my own site and want it to continue, you might buy a subscription for yourself anyway since keeping CWN in business and me employed is the best way of guaranteeing that.

  • Well, if you’re not a subscriber you can’t read them today. The free day was yesterday. But you can always sign up for a trial subscription, I guess.

You may have been trying to access a story on the front page from a couple of days ago (although I thought they had all scrolled off), but I should have been more specific. Only stories posted on Wednesday or Thursday were free.

Just to let you know, we do make some stories free each day, although we don’t have a set criteria for which ones will be free and which ones won’t.
