Catholic family discrimination in Philippines

Catholic family discrimination in Philippines

Soon the most Catholic country in Asia could be actively discriminating against Catholic families, all at the behest of the UN and pro-abortion population controllers. The Philippines Senate is debating a bill called “The Two Child Policy” that would impose penalties upon families that have more than two children.

A leading US-based advocacy group on behalf of Filipino families is the Filipino Family Fund. Go to their site for more information, to sign their petition, and to sign up to keep informed. I would hope that in addition to encouraging Catholics in the Philippines to organize against this bad law, we could lobby our own government to rein in these pro-abortion groups pushing this law and we could send some money to those in the Philippines fighting this.

  • Don’t have time to look at the site right now, but definitely will. Ugh, how ghoulish.

    Best to all –

  • Joanne,

If you get a moment, maybe you can assure Father Celestino of your prayers for his country.

This is—I was going to say “unbelievable” but in truth, it isn’t.

  • The Philippines is one of the least likely countries I would have thought of for something like this.  How scary.  What are the Philippine bishops doing about it?  I will definitely click the link you provided.

  • Hi, Kelly:

I like Fr. Celestino alot. I was visibly upset one day at daily Mass and he sat down with me afterwards (I stayed after Mass to pray) and asked me what was wrong! Very caring.

    God bless –
