While leaders of American Jewish groups fulminate over Mel Gibson’s movie, a new survey finds a rising tide of anti-Semitism in Europe. Nearly half of those surveyed thought that Jews in their country had a different “mentality and lifestyle.” Sounds like that could be innocuous enough, but read on. More than 40 percent said Jews had “a particular relationship money,” eerily sounding like the old greedy Jews racism. And more than third said Jews should “stop playing the victim” for the Holocaust.
