Boston archdiocese on CBS News

Barring late-breaking news that bumps it from the broadcast, the CBS Evening News will have a segment on the church closing kerfuffle in Boston tonight. I’m sure the journalistic integrity that CBS News has shown so often lately will shine through in this report. (That’s sarcasm, in case you didn’t recognize it.)

  • Don’t be so hard on CBS, Dom.  On Wednesday evening, the “Tiffany Network” broke into the crime drama “CSI: New York” in the final five minutes to announce the death of Mr. Arafat, causing viewers to miss the resolution of the mystery?

Inundated with complaints, the network aired the show again Friday evening, after firing the news producer who made the decision that Arafat wouldn’t still be dead in three hundred seconds, when the local news was set to begin anyway.
(Keep in mind that November is ratings sweeps month).

Meanwhile, Dan Rather continues in his job, making the news up as he goes along.

P.S.  Did anyone see that piece of *^%$# on CBS last night about the hurricane hitting Chicago.
