According to this report on a British Catholic news site Prime Minister Tony Blair did not receive Communion from the Pope but a blessing. As I suspected, the whole thing was going to be a storm about nothing and that eventually we would hear that the Pope didn’t anything as controversial as giving Communion to a non-Catholic.
