The American Family Association of Michigan is asking Cardinal Adam Maida of Detroit to shut down a Mass at Marygrove College celebrating the 29th anniversary of the Detroit chapter of Dignity, USA. The AFA says that allowing the use of the Catholic college’s chapel is a violation of clear Vatican directives, especially the CDF’s “Letter to the Bishops of the Catholic Church on the Pastoral Care of Homosexual Persons.”
