Ed Peters thinks the San Francisco Board of Supervisors’ resolution attacking the Catholic Church is a pretty clear case of a violation of the First Amendment. He also thinks this will be quietly settled out of court. I really hope it isn’t. I’d like the Catholic League and the Thomas More Center to pursue this so that this kind of bigotry gets the kind of exposure it deserves.
