The Mudville Gazette blog brings a round-up of first-person accounts of the bombing of the mess hall in Mosul last week. I found the first blog linked, from a chaplain who was at the hospital with the wounded and killed, to be especially moving. It helps to remind me that we’re at war, even more so when all the mainstream media seems to want to do is just keep a running body count with which to bash the president over the head.
