We made it to Texas (Austin to be exact). We had a good flight, connecting through Chicago and it was surprisingly smooth and easy. The weather is good across most of the country so that helps, but we didn’t hit any snags. The day started at 6 am (after 5 hours of sleep) and it’s now 5 pm (in the Central time zone; 6 pm according to my internal clock) so I’m a little tired.
I haven’t really had time to blog, but email never stops so I have several things filling up the queue. If I don’t blog tonight (which I doubt; I’m hoping to go get some barbecue), I’ll be back in the morning. But keep your RSS feeds primed. You never know when inspiration will strike.
Welcome to Austin, Dom! The city’s motto is “Keep Austin Weird”, but I hope you will help me to “Make Austin Holy” while you are here.
I don’t mind if you don’t blog too much. I spend too much time at this website anyways and I’ve got too much cooking, shopping and cleaning to do!!!
Isn’t Bill Cork from around there somewhere?
Houston, if I recall correctly, which is about 5 hours from here. Distances in the south and west are different from distances in the northeast.
