At the opposite end of the spectrum, at the Theology on Tap in Harvard Square last Thursday, the featured speaker was Francine Cardman from the Weston School of Theology, a liberal feminist whose writings are cited at http://www.womenpriests.org and who spoke about….“Women in the Church.” Why doesn’t anyone check these programs in advance to be sure the speakers believe what the Church actually teaches.

Cardinal Sean O’Malley of Boston spoke at a Theology on Tap at Bad Abbot’s in Quincy, Mass., on October 10. I hear it was standing-room only.
