Hi Isabella Bettinelli - Welcome to the world. It’s really a good place because God created it just like He did you. You picked great parents. You are truly blessed, just as they are in you.
May the Holy Family guard you always.

Blessings be upon your family! And what a beautiful name - it’s as lovely as she is.

I will never forget the first night my wife and I brought our oldest son home. We were praying over him, in his bed as he fell asleep for the first night in our house, when we both looked at each other and said that he didn’t belong to us. God has lent him to us. God has entrusted him to us. He is now and forever and then there was the awesome rush of, “what was God thinking entrusting us with an eternal soul.” “What if we mess up as parents?” Then the next immediate thought was if my heart wants to explode with love for my son, if my heart pounds with the thought of my son not loving God, how much more does God love me and what an amazing love that He gives us, his children the choice to love Him. That night, those first thoughts, have been the driving force behind my own desire for holiness, because our children our listening to their parents just not always with their ears but always, always with their eyes. That night, those first thoughts made me committ to kneeling by my childrens besides every night to yes hear their prayers but to even more importantly to pray over them for protection and for God’s will in their lives, that they would be open and respond. I think in the past 13 years I have only missed a handful of nights. On a human level, we have never, thank God, had a hard time with our children going to bed and I attribute that to the pray over and for them each evening. Pray, pray, pray. We are all so psyched for you and your beautiful family. We will always keep you in our prayers.
