Reading the signs
It might be time to start potty training Isabella. She’s been approaching either Melanie or me, pointing at her pants and saying “Wet, wet.” Sure enough, she needs changing.
Could it be? Is it possible? Might be we soon have one child using the potty just as a new diaper-wearing little someone makes her appearance?

Umm, go ahead and “train” her if you like, but expect a relapse when the baby is born and DON’T get cranky about it if it happens. My 2 cents.
you might think about getting her a “little potty” as a “big sister gift” when the baby is born…but don’t go all out in training just yet!
like Jane M above, just my $.02, and I agree that if you trained her now, you’d have a relapse.
Our first daughter trained at 18 months cuz she wanted pretty underwear.
The next 5 were a bit tougher as they were all boys. At one point we had 3 in diapers, that stunk. But miracle of miracles, we were out of diapers for the first time in 10 years. Our youngest boy trained at 2 1/2, it only lasted a month, but it was sweet while it lasted.
Oh and his baby sister is pretty sweet too.
