News for Tuesday, August 15
One of the problems of running a food and cooking blog is figuring out what to do on the days you don’t use a new recipe. We have lots of favorites that we go back to time and again, thus leaving us without new recipes to post. Or we’re working on a new recipe, but it’s not quite ready for prime time.
In order to keep a steady flow of good material coming, we’re going to start posting some of our old favorites that we may not have made recently, but that we enjoy nonetheless. And we’re going to start posting some of in-development recipes, clearly telling you that they are in development, in case they inspire you to your own new creations.
Also, the digital camera is still broken so we still have no food pictures. Sorry.
COMMENTS
No kidding! I found that by benignly neglecting my food blog except when something comes to mind, which ranges from several times a week to every couple of weeks, I actually match most other blogger’s frequency. An interesting realization when you consider how often I am posting on my main blog.
Yeah, I noticed that about most food and cooking bloggers. I wanted to get a more regular schedule going though. If not every day then at least several times per week.
Julie,
I suspect we’ll eventually catch up to having blogged all our old favorites and that will just about synchronize with less time spent in the kitchen/on the blog because of ambulatory Bella.
Glad you’re liking the blog.
Yeah, I keep thinking I’ll see if Dom can change that to a password thing like his blog is. Now that I’m not using my site for my teaching blogs/student interfaces. Great to chat with you too. Seems our kitchen blog is just as conducive to hanging out for good conversation as our actual kitchen is.
